I am from the Appalachia and grew up extremely poor. The amount of misrepresentation of the community there is upsetting in comparison to the amount of humanity and warmth from the communities. You have people that move in and take land off the mountains where people love to go that are gated by rich outsiders. I’ve moved from there a long time ago but have no idea on how to help the hollows and it upsets me deeply.
